"Sponsor A Christian Musician"

* A musician may be sponsored by a church or a family member with a monthly donation of  twenty-five dollars (along with the annual membership fee) and a written letter of support. This enables a musician to be actively involved in everything ACMA has to offer and even act as a spokesman during meetings and when deciding time and places events and concerts will be held (keeping in mind, all final decisions are made by the ACMA Board of Directors).

* Because ACMA operates under the DBA (Doing Business As) Austin Christian Musician Association, based on the information supplied by us to the IRS, and the IRS assumption that our operations will be as stated in our application for recognition of exemption, the IRS has determined that ACMA is Exempt from federal income tax under section 501(a) of the Internal Revenue Code as an organization described in section 501(c)(3).

* All monthly and yearly money donations made to ACMA will be tax exempt. This is not, however, applied to annual fees that are paid for membership to ACMA - including "Sponsor A Christian Musician" - (some fees are subject to change).
